Project Overview
Census had to prepare for the 2020 decennial census!
This project was a complete redesign of the claims process for the bureau, which was only partially done online (on an antiquated system), and then the other half was done via paper.
My Contributions
My job was to provide a modernized solution for this. Our audience was specifically the claims office, and their various roles of users. I was tasked with taking the project digital, and reducing the workload for 500+ users. From a business perspective, we needed to reduce how much of a workload was placed on a few people, and distribute the weight to the responsible roles. I was Sr. UX Lead on this project, working with my team of 5 engineers, 2 BAs, 1 Scrum Master, and 1 designer reporting to me.
